Description of Euro Double girder overhead crane
European type double girder overhead crane is one of the most common types overhead crane, which is also called EOT crane. Running two parallel runways with double end beams, traveling bridge span the gap between two rails. Powered by electricity, control of motions is achieved from an operator cabin or a control pendant along with the overhead crane.

Applications of Euro Double girder overhead crane
High safety and reliable performance. Advanced technology: lifting mechanism, driving unit and control system all apply modularized design. Height of whole crane is low, so installation height of European type overhead crane is lower than traditional overhead crane. That means utilization rate of the plant will be improved. Further more, cost of civil construction can be cut by using this kind of overhead crane/EOT crane. Main girder and end beam apply high-strength bolts, which makes transportation and installation easier. Also bolts connection can avoid rail gnawing with proper adjustment. By specific technical analysis, wheel pressure is more reasonable. Deadweight of crane is smaller than before, and maxmum wheel pressure is reduced by 10%~20%.
High electrical control precision and perfect protection device European type double girder bridge crane applys AC frequency conversion speed control. It also have complete mechanical and electrical protection devices, such as main and auxiliary hook overload limiters, main and auxiliary hook height limiters. Limit switch stop and mechanical terminal buffer stop are equipped for travelling mechanism. Variable frequency control, smooth starting and braking, anti-sway technology avaliable to make lifting more precise.

Main structure: Bridge frame, traveling mechanism, trolley, cabin and electrical equipment. Crane traveling mechanism is driven by three-in-one speed reducer motors. Its variable frequency system provides smooth acceleration and operating speed.
